Duraguard™

A breakthrough in mine safety technology, the Duraguard™ is a mechanically operated face support system designed to counter rockfall problems at the working face. Consisting of two similar steep support units connected to each other via two crank mechanisms, the Duraguard™ can handle stoping widths of 600mm to 1600mm, has a preload force of 50kN per leg, is steerable and can advance in 300mm steps. It is simple to install and maintain and can be integrated with blasting barricades, netting and rock drills.

Durapak®

Durapak® is a patented design comprised of cellular lightweight concrete blocks, reinforced with annealed steel wire mesh and polypropylene fibres, engineered for optimal gully protection through high initial stiffness and a flat Load vs. Deformation curve.

Duracan

The Duracan comprises a steel canister filled with Cellcon™ (in-situ pumped cellular concrete). It is designed to suit specific mining conditions and can vary in diameters from 450mm to 1200mm with any height up to 5,5m. With exceptional support stiffness and a designable yield load which is maintained over a large deformation range, the Duracan is suitable for applications where high stoping widths are encountered.

Cellcon™

Manufactured from a cementitious slurry, consisting of mine tailings, cement, flyash and water, Cellcon™ is an in-situ pumped cellular concrete. The properties of Cellcon™ can be tailored for different mining applications from ventilation control, underground cavity stabilization to strata control support systems.

Ventset™

The Ventset™ system comprises of cellular concrete (Cellcon™), pumped into retaining polypropylene paddock wall structures, which are constructed in the stoping or development environment to improve ventilation flow and reduce thermal loading of the ventilation air.
